This is Corry Duncan and he’s an absolute beast. He recently finished our gyms first fitness challenge and you can tell all his time spent in the gym has paid off. Not only did Corry loose weight, but he’s also gained so much strength, both inside and out. He has the motivation to get up and go to the gym everyday to work harder and better himself. This is our “why” at Elevate. We want to see our members succeed, we want to see them become the best version of themselves. We are so proud of everything you have done Corry, keep up the hard work!
Honestly, the consistency of working has been more helpful than I could have imagined. My mind feels clearer and sharper, and my energy level is way more steady. The rhythm of exercise has really helped every other rhythm of my life. I absolutely love working out in community. There is something about sweating together and spurring one another on that is encouraging and inspiring. I particularly enjoy working out in groups of 3s during the triangle workouts and I also enjoy the 7 minute timed workouts. Oh yeah…and I love a good church lap! I feel like I’m more alert throughout the day, and more mentally engaged. Getting up early has always been a challenge for me, but the consistency of it has actually helped me stay more focused and be more disciplined. My wife and I exercise together, which has been really nice. We get up together, encourage each other, and discuss things we like and don’t like about the workouts. Because I’ve been working so hard, I do feel my appetite is curbed and I don’t crave eating as much as I used to. The other day I did two workout in one day…well, because I just can’t get enough!
